This is probably the first time i'm calling out all the writers we have here!
Since i'm taking a break from drawing i was thinking about dive in into new stories.
My favorite genres are romance, comedy, slice-of-life and supernatural, so if any of your novels have this i'll be happy to give it a look!

To be more specific i really like reading dynamics about young people, their relationships and development through a story, i also have a passionate love for ships (therefore Romance is my favorite genre) but i'm also kinda picky with them ehehe ^^" anyway just put here what you have and i'll read it!

Romance: :heavy_check_mark:
Comedy: I mean a little I guess? But not super prevalent.
Slice of life: :heavy_check_mark:
Supernatural: if monsters count :heavy_check_mark:
Young people: Well … the protagonist is 25, everyone else is … older to say the least.
Developing relationships: :heavy_check_mark:
Ships: there are multiple :heavy_check_mark:

Be warned for a monster x human pairing, age gaps, and racy sex scenes.
Secunda1: an erotic monster romance. :skull:

Well, I've got a romantic coming of age story in a fantasy setting right here on Tapas1, but if you'd prefer a romantic comedy with multiple ships, a bit of drama and dynamics that actually come into play, I'd like to direct you to my fanfiction Crazy, Millennial Love Story. Most characters are in their early twenties (one being in their late teens), so they're pretty young too!

casually copies @joannekwan

Romance: ehhh
Comedy: ....well I find it funny
Slice of Life: nope
Supernatural: parallel worlds, magic, gods, transforming weapons, the usual
Young people: 22 and 24 MCs
Developing relationships: all kinds of love! fathers to sons, old besties, reconnecting, a guy who's afraid of commitment/or is happy single
Ships: :sunglasses:

If you want something complete, that's a short story, with... similar elements then I suggest

Younger MC's, and lots of supernatural stuff...

OK SO! I have several (@racheldenucci I got this today)

So first we will start with one from my friend Rose

Vivian thinks he's going to be an outsider and quickly becomes part of a quirky group of theater kids, where the price becomes quite taken with him! Meanwhile, his stepfather proceeds to reconnect his past in the small down

Then from my friend Rach

A young girl runs away from home to escape her life and becomes part of a band of bandits. Years later a prince ends up in that same forest. Magic, battles, and plenty of romance begin to bloom.

4 young men come to live together and quickly begin bonding in ways they never expected. If that wasn't enough, crazy powers are involved! Be warned, there are the feels in this one!

Lastly, this is a team collar that STARTED as a fan fiction

After Roommates is finished, Greer shows up and causes a bit of chaos for those boys. She's stubborn, convinced she doesn't have powers and doesn't want to accept help more than needed but... why? Romance is coming soonish on this one.

Hello! I'm writing a dark-fantasy series called KRZ, and I'm working alongside a good friend who is doing all the illustrations.

Without giving too much away, my story takes place in an alternate universe where all sorts of magical beings and creatures exist (vampires, werewolves, kings, princesses, dragons, all that fun stuff!).

My story is still fairly new; I'd like to say now that I intend for KRZ to have LGBT+ elements. My friend and I are both gay artists; my goal is for KRZ to become something iconic for the LGBT+ community

I guess two of my series might fit that. They're gay romance though so not sure if it's what you'd like to read but they're both comedy and the former is also fantasy so that part should fit your requirements

Not sure whether my novel fits the bill but it does have a developing romance in it and fantasy is also involved! :stuck_out_tongue:

I have two here. They're BL so if that's not your cup of tea you can avoid them now. But if you don't mind, then feel free to try them out!

Here's a romance/melodrama novel I started recently.

mine

you might really enjoy my current project. it starts off a bit slow but I turn up the pressure over the first few chapters. i would classify it urban fantasy with a bit of cosmic horror, i also have a bit of a romantic subplot going with more than a few unexplained as of yet mysteries. hit me up after november when i should have my NaNoWrMo story mostly done. i would love a beta reader going into a full edit

Romance - yes.
Comedy - It has its moments.
slice-of-life - Not really lol, it's pretty dark and intense.
Supernatural - you bet your ass.
Young people - Everyone is in their early twenties so "Young people" is subjective. There's a lot of character development and I'll go into that in a second.

My novel is King of the Dead.

As far as romance go, the main romantic theme of KOTD, is the main character trying to overcome his anger issues and blatant paranoia to date a princess. If there's one trope I hate, it's the girl being okay with the guy having super toxic issues and I wanted to show a couple who are both broken and have toxic traits having a healthy relationship with accountability and honesty. MC is super shy and only really knows war, so he tries to break out of his mold which does lead to some comedic moments.

Supernatural. Now this is an area I could go into for DAYS but I'm not sure how to tell you about it without spoilers. First off, the main villain has far-reaching psychic powers that the main characters have to deal with while also fighting in a war. They use deductive reasoning and tests to figure out a bunch of details about what the villain can and cannot do that ends up changing how they fight. There's also this super weird time travel that I've tried to do my own thing with. Then there's alternate reality, as well as main and secondary dimensions.

Young people. I still consider the ages of 18-23 roughly to be young. I learned a lot during this time, despite thinking I knew what the hell was going on. The main characters are slowly realizing that their way of doing things is horrific. They're so accustomed to backstabbing and dictatorships, that they never stopped to question it. Upon meeting this new country, it throws everything into chaos and a lot of lines get drawn...and crossed.

Mina Taylor is a twenty-year-old nursing student who is ready for commitment.

She is going to marry the love of her life, a doctor and her childhood friend Ryan. After four years surrounded by a world of love, it really feels like she could have it all.

But then that world changes.

Following her dreams, she moves to a new country and starts drawing just as she always wanted in her heart.

Five years later, just as her luck always turns, the man she is working for is a charlatan who steals one of her own projects. Fired, thrown out, and in despair, she heads home and decides to end it all. End her work, end-all her misery, and maybe just end herself...

Her plan is foiled halfway through, her luck throws her for a loop yet again. As even in death, it all backfires when she is suddenly sucked into another dimension!

How far can someone go to find their own happiness? And how far will she go to prove that it's real, and something worth fighting for?

Ah I'm currently writing a mystery/horror novel with two detectives in a romantic relationship. It's already established, but the characters relationship is heavily developing and changing due to the events of the story. It's spooky, but it has its sweet moments between the two detectives as well (':

Romance? Check (where's the line between romance and erotica again?).
Comedy? Probably the most consistent compliment I got on it was how funny it was.
Slice of life? Hooooh yeah. It literally follows the life of the MC.
Supernatural? ..... How do you feel about the Monster Musume manga/anime?
Young People?.... Eeehhh... Kinda not really? What's young to you? IIRC the MCs were mostly in their lower 20s.

I've got a MG harem epic-length work I wrote up some years ago... Biggest question is how old are you, because it's on another site (I'm new here and haven't decided to put up a story with a generic thumbnail or wait until I can get an appropriate one), & is extremely NSFW..... Like... Graphically. Which means for risk of minors I can't share it on the forum, lol.

Give this a try if it's your kinda thing! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Welp if you dont mind Girls Love this here you go! Supernatural, some what romantic x3

You can give The Moth Princess a read if you want~! It's a quirky romance!

My Only Wish is a short read if you're low on time, but the romance is on the bitter side of bitter-sweet. It's about a young Goddess finding her place in the world.

For a longer story that's actually happy, Ice Princess is about a high school girl who finds out she's the reincarnation of a magical princess. It's a little more 'Party Building in an RPG' than romance, but her love plays a pivotal part in the plot.
