I would love a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-style beat ‘me up but with more character interactions and 2-player combos. Like Artemis being able to shield Penny between Penny’s punches or Taylor being able to duck mid-fight so Vashti can tackle/attack his opponent. I don’t know of too many games that have a fighting system that are built around that level of cooperation, but I’d love to see that happen in an old school beat ‘me up with a variety of fun animations.
This game would be about war, simulation genre up to half of the game and on the second half like Crysis, very violent, dramatic and very varied. I also recently downloaded The last of us remake on torrents, the plot of which really impresses me. I think my world will be a bit like The last of us, for the atmosphere of abandonment and post-apocalypse. Very glad that there are sites that provide the opportunity to download masterpieces of the game industry for free. If you have problems logging into torrents because of regional bans, then unblock pirate bay here to bypass all restrictions and without any problems download anything you want.
Saudade1 would be a visual novel like Our Life where you have just one dating option and it's focused on the story. I have plans of doing that someday who knows xD
bitwam would be a board game about life, like CV or The Pursuit of Happiness
As for God's World, it was actually a game idea first before I decided to make it into a one-shot comic for Webtoon's Call to Action contest In particular, it was a deck-building party based roguelite; think Darkest Dungeon meets SteamWorld: Quest
There are two games I can turn my character into:
First, it would be a shoot 'em up game and it would likely to be a spin-off. She fights off baddies from local hi-tech criminals to a terrorist group and even most fearsome galactic raiders.
Combining elements of Cuphead, Metal Slug 4, and Kirby Planet Robobot.
Plus Sky Force element as the game has top down shooter mode as well.
Second is a real-time-strategy game and this is confirmed as canon. After she discovered the villain behind the wreck havoc in her city, she finally battles with her arch-nemesis, the villain, across the galaxy quadrant, though she spends most of the time inside her armored command unit while commanding her own robotic armies,
Total Annihilation-esque, Supreme Commander, and Zero-K style.
Plus Warzone 2100 influence for the entire canon premise.
Our protagonist Caren is a streetwise, ass-kicking, knife-flipping mage who captures sorcerers who've gone rogue. She'd definitely star in a beat 'em up with RPG elements (since I'm a sucker for anything with levels, choice & consequence, etc.)—I'm actually toying with making one at the moment, since I've some experience in game dev and design
Exploration based game with several smaller plotlines! My world is based around passages leading to different worlds and alternate realities, so I'd love the player to be able to explore some of those in ways that my characters can't. They could complete a different story with each Room they got to, with some of the stories being character focused, some fighting based, maybe one large scale political story. I think it would be really cool to have fun with the game format in the different rooms, with some in a visual novel format, some as platformers, pixel sprites, etc : )
It's strange to see that someone unearthed such an old thread.
I guess mu thoughts 6 years later...
I sort of hold a lot of nostalgia for virtual pet games and I also enjoyed Princess Maker 2. And I sort of wonder if it was possible to take one of my series and sort of turn it into a raising simulator. Be it the characters being NPCs or having little pet/monsters based off my OCs.
I'm ̶n̶o̶t̶ a Sick Boy started as an idea for an action-horror/ beat-em-up videogame
so this would be going right back to the original dream
Using existing games as reference, a 3rd person action-horror like Dead Space and Resident Evil with a beat em up system that's somewhere between Dead Rising, Tekken Force Mode, Castlevania and Devil May Cry.
The player is an asymptomatic carrier of a virus that causes any NPC within a 20ft proximity to mutate into horrid monsters. The player's condition also granted him unusual abilities to emulate different states of matter (liquid, solid, gas) that he would master overtime. The player unwillingly caused an outbreak & aims to defend survivors from the monsters. The game's environment challenges the player to find ways to rescue and escort survivors/loved ones to shelters and be cautious to not infect them too. If the player were to infect NPCs in multiples of 5 (5, 10,15, 20) the monsters could stack up and mutate into bigger monsters increasing the game difficulty. Some species of infected that naturally merge with groups of other lifeforms to create big monstrosities too (think along the lines of the Thing Movie). Combat required the player to explore those 'unusual abilities' mentioned earlier, to create an arsenal of weapons for fast paced combat. The player would switch between 'states of matter' for environment puzzles and against enemy classes.
Because it's a comic now, and storyline became a greater factor and was able to be more flexible with the rules. Had merged two other sub-game ideas into the comic series: An FPS Action Horror which would have been a DLC and a Fighting Game spin-off idea which became a Battle Royale arc in the latter episodes of the series.
If Crescent Blue had a game, I think a beat em up or a fighting game would best suit it. But what I would really like to see is a game that combines combat with rpg elements of exploring an open world and doing small side quests. Something like Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. (I dont actually know the exact name of the genre. Im not what you'd call a gamer. Also I haven't played DBZ Kakarot but I am interested in giving it a try in the future)
I attempted to make a vertical shoot-em-up spin-off of Magical Renegades before; I made several sprites, designed characters and wrote a storyline, but got stuck on how to code the bullet patterns so it was never finished.
This is still a game idea I want to get back to if I can get the skill for it. Since some of the characters are melee fighters though, an RPG adaptation might be more accurate to those characters.
I also had plans for a visual novel spin-off that explores more of the lore, and more of the possibilities that could’ve happened in different timelines depending on the player’s choices.
I would have converted myself into an action-game character like of Mini Militia 2.
That be just awesome and if I could have just one more speciality like instant transmission from Dragon Ball Z, that would have been awesome.
There are other choices as well like characters from Naruto Series and getting a chakra ability or of one piece and getting Haki as well.
