Definitely something to do with my job. Already done a few bits for that, too, even if none of it's for publishing.

I've actually thought a lot about this and it's on my list of things to do. I'd write about the descent of illustration from how it was perceived in the Leyendecker era (like Rockwell was a freakin superstar) to how it is now where, because of social media and years of poor education, most people have this perception that not only are there a billion professional artists out there (which despite how it feels, there really isn't), that they are expendable and deserve to be underpaid. Just a big depressing book about fundamental rules of commerce failing to work: where despite there being so much demand and despite the quality being better than ever, the price of commercial art remains so, so incredibly poor and only seems to get worse.

It's cliche but a self help book. Living through trauma makes you want to help others deal with it!

You should definitely write that! Sounds like a fascinating read...

I'm guilty I love History way too much. But I wouldn't mind writing and studying animals. If I never honed my skills as an artist or story writer I would probably have gone to the field of Archaeology or Zoology (something like one of my biggest heroes Steve Irwin did).

So I'd probably write something along the lines of Archaeology or Animals.

Some daydreaming dude that lives and sees the world as a fantasy story.
Poor guy.
(That would be my bio)

I've always wanted to write non-fiction about philosophy and ethics, because I've always found that interesting. Maybe create a collection of thought experiments and ethical dilemmas!

Same thought! My best friend and I always joke about writing one together bundled in several volumes with... quite interesting titles.

(We have a whole list of titles we'd love to use, though I'm sure we've forgotten at least half of them already.)

Something I'm intrigued by is philosophy. My Ethics teacher has given us a whole pile of works from philosophers to read and damn, though sometimes difficult to understand, it is simply interesting. So yeah, philosophy it would be.

Self-help books. I like helping people deal with their psychological problems on their own so that they don't have to rely too much on other people.

The Titanic ship and it's 2 sister ships, reaching to cover information that is less known to the public. Including but not limited to people touring to see the Titanic in subs and are progressively destroying it, why it's being destroyed, should it be, and why are we less concerned as a whole (and less informed) about the state of the sister ship that's also sunk? And why do we not tour the third ship?

Specific topics
I got about half way through a manuscript about a certain local street festival. I wanted to provide an insiders perspective on how to participate because that info was not readily available. I performed a lot of research, but the next year the festival changed greatly because of a funding issue, so most of my info was no longer accurate. I shelved it for a year to see what would happen, and that ended up being the last year it was held.

I also had a vague concept of a book which details how to run specific scenes in roleplaying games. How.to roleplay a chase scene, how to roleplay a duel, how to roleplay a song and.damce number without actually doing either... I might revisit that project at some point in the future.

I've done music journalism off and on over the years; album reviews, show reviews, interviews with bands, etc. It's fun, but ever since the whole pandemic thing started and the music industry basically got shut down, I've sort of dropped off with it since there's not a lot to write about.

Science I guess, like medicine, criminalistics and such
Music is also interesting but I fell like I don't know much about it

Some kind of travel autobiography! Maybe I could even use it as an excuse to go more places.

I guess mine is technically non-fiction comedy, though situations are exaggerated.
It's an informational comic introducing several aspects about Korean food, culture, and intercultural dating. And autobiographical since it's based on my life?

If I was ever to write another non-fiction, I think I would do weird facts about animals or nature. Like single panel "fun fact" comics.

The hardest thing about non-fiction is you really have to do thorough research about what you're writing about. You have the responsibility to ensure what you're posting is accurate and true.
