Here's one Inktober alternative I've been seeing artists joke about, do with it what you will

I'm no artist, but I'm a writer who's been real affected by the summer heat in California- just, a lot of procrastinating and lack of energy to write, really. I'm hoping October cools down enough so I can feel motivated enough to keep working on my comic scripts more consistently! But we're talking California here.. Sometimes it still feels like summer even in November :pensive:

Aside from making pumpkin and apple pies? 🥧 :pumpkin:
Hopefully I will spend time growing love for my comic and learning how to make it more efficient. Also spending some time on the stories I didn't had the time to do before. October has the best ambience to relax and enjoy the process
Don't know if I'll take part in art challenges, but I liked the Joketober prompts the guys are making in the other thread, so maybe something from that list ^^

Making another comic and finishing up my shorter ones. Been working on buffer for three of them, and I'm close to finishing. I should be able to finish them by the end of October.

The new comic will definitely be Halloween-themed. I like me some good old slasher stories.

Well if Halloween’s trick or treating isn’t canceled, then I’m going to give out candy with my dad. No idea what I’m dressing as but eh.

I was planning to join '24hr Comics Day' gathering organized from nearby college since last year. I've never gone to one and always want to see other comic artists' works in person... but they cancelled the gathering this time. Guess I'll always have next year. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ So I just gonna working on my comic.

Surviving the start of the school year and writing my books.

I'm thinking of doing Drawtober1, its a few prompts spread out over the month and they all hit me hard in the Halloween bone :jack_o_lantern: alternatively, I really want to work on a mini comic or two now that ive smoothed out my routine for my main comic. Idk yet, but October is looking nicer than usual this year. Inktober used to stress me out so bad. I completed it one year when I was in college and never since. It felt like a personal failure, like I peaked too soon or something :joy: %@*! inktober.

I'm still trying to focus on September...

I do need to sit down and start putting together my ideas to start scripting my Patreon comic that I want to start working on next year.

I plan to make a black and white BL comic but I can't even finish my current comic, so uhm..
I always try to join inktober then a couple of days I give up, it always happen yearly ;_;

I might also try the slashtober prompts. Hopefully there's some leeway tho, because I'd rather make up my own lore for the themes? Might help out with some story ideas or something.

Anyhow, it's Halloween season, so let's get it into gear, lads, ladies, and ladles.

I'm probably just gonna pick and choose from a bunch of em--I have no intention of finishing any of them though, I'll probably only do 5 or 6 october themed illsutrations.

I'm doing my own thing called Agentober where I draw my own characters from my webcomic. I have a prompt for every day listed now, but really my ultimate goal is to draw each of my main characters at least once throughout the month! I wanted to celebrate myself and all of the hard work I've put into my story.

Ha I never really had the time or stamina for inktober so it’s not really a big deal for me  and holloween is a bit of a dead holiday in my area- so rn my biggest plans are to release my vampire comic during the month of October ^u^

Doing goretober until I get bored and miss more than 1/2 the prompts. I had already done 3 of them so far. But for my own life. I'm in a foreign country for October, so family is for the weak. Okay I would be having a lonely as hell October and Christmas
