@PixyByte thanks for the compliments. I wont take all the credit i do use 3d actors instead of sketching, but i also change bits so its not all copy's ( the writing however is all mine lol)
Dude, I really like the little Pixy's design! Cute as heck and those glowy wings are awesome. It's really cool to see the progression of Pixy as it crawls off of the page. And the way the main Pixy is drawing looks awesome -- I love the pushed up sleeve on one arm! Little personality quirks like that are so fun to spot~
And may I show you the latest page of There's No Such Thing as Jason -- I.T.? I'm showin'! 44 pages in and finally getting to the third character, Day. She's gonna be whooooole heaps of fun~
@phenylketonurics I've been meaning to say this for a while, but I really dig your style. It's so fresh and intriguing and pleasing and wow. I really like it ^.^ this page is really well done! I love the mood you create with the colors and the juxtaposition of Dim and Day's thoughts/actions. And wow! All those cars you drew in the parking lot? Dang. So many cars 0.o I'm curious to see what'll happen on the next page!
Here's the latest page of Reus. We get to see more of Max's huge, empty mansion. 1
@Cielle that red bubbles with white writing works well, and i love the wallpaper details and the stairs. (they are always a pain to draw and color) very cool.
the new page from Talesfromswipecity2 sneaking around a locked school!
I would just tell that guy to assume that all kids nowadays are natural born hackers. lol
I like your panel transition and the layout of your paneling! The comic is easy to follow
Here's the latest of Strike Pup:
hi! @atlas, i like the varying line weights on your figures and their expressions are nicely done. maybe try not to crop the panels so close so that the tops of their heads are cut off; it's a little bit distracting.
and here's mine, black prism1:
The backgrounds on your page look really cool.
New Life of an Aspie page. Eiji gets told off for his crass mouth.
Are they having a death stare moment with lightning striking in panel 1?
New Juvies for this week
Please like, share and subscribe... It does get better I promise LOL.
@Kaos_Comics I like the positive mood of your comic, the page looks nice, also the eyes are really cute!
A new page from "Summerdays"1
Wonderful coloring! I have no idea what's happening, but I can sense a certain intensity in the moment. There's even a feeling of claustrophobia with so many close ups, makes me feel like I wanna step back.
Here's the latest of SweetGum:
@atlas Check it out, this is such a cool way to work the visual format of comics -- it's very storybook method but the panels and framing are totally traditional. The linework is quite stylish here, too. The very last panel with the texturing? Ace work. Plus all of the characters' expressions are a blast to look at (that gorilla, he's killin' me!).
There's No Such Thing as Jason -- I.T. updated today, hoho. Had a blast with the lighting (car interiors, are they that moody??)!
Oh yay, I've been wanting to get one of your pages for a while now! First off, I absolutely love your style! You probably get that a lot, but how can people not love something so unique and memorable? I've actually been meaning to read your comic for a while too and promise it's still on my to-do list. :'D ANYWAY, as for the actual page, it looks great as I expect of you. Your characters are so fun to look at that it's hard for me to not enjoy every page I see pop up on here.
And as for City of Blank, this page I've got a very angry dog:
Great color as always, Riko - I also love the breakout onomatopoeia. Nice touch.
This one took for eeeeeeever. I've never drawn so many panels on a page before!
It took me literally the whole day to get it done - but I do like it. You'll have to zoom in on it though; I could barely cram all the text I wanted into the 940px that Tapastic limits us to.
250% zoom ought to do it. Ctrl and Plus/Minus zooms in and out on Chrome and Firefox I believe.
I really enjoy the style and how clean the black grey and white is with this comic. However the walls of text is a bit hard to look past and something that easily dissuades people from reading. I know I myself have had problems with putting too much text on a page and it's a difficult thing to work around but it's definitely worth it. Try spreading the text across more panels. One of the ways I worked around it was limiting how many sentences I out in a word bubble.
This is the newest page of Discount Religion It has some bad language in it so beware.
@azureXtwilight Wow! Action packed scene! I really like the movement you have in your panels-- the blur is very effective. I wonder who the guy with the knife is-- AND-- who was his intended victim? Very cool
@atlas Thank you! I wanted to show the scene how the dog's seeing it. I have no idea how it actually is, that's how dogs see scenes that they can't resist helping, in my imagination . Also I wanted to give this scene a certain amount of tension.
P.S.: The artwork of your comic looks great!
@agentfink -- I'm very excited about The Pale, first off. Out of the recent crop of new comics that we're both a part of, you're one of the ones that everyone should be watching.
The newest page? Great writing and dialogue. And the art style continues to be striking and effective, even in the less sweeping and more conversational panels. If your goal was to draw and write something that feels like an ominous amalgam of The Walking Dead and True Detective, then you've nailed it. If you didn't have those two franchises in mind as inspiration ... well, you still nailed it.
And now, for the newest page of Atonement1! This page was particularly challenging for us as we continue to try to establish a unique style for the comic.
@donathinfrye
Your review totally made my morning...
(great job on your comic too-- looks great and very distinct!)
