ah i love smash! I play on the 3DS. My #1 main since melee has been Bowser.....HES JUST SOO AWESOME. But i also really like Link and Lucina

The fact that Roy is back just makes me want to play Smash bros again. So much memories on Melee.
The poor thing is that I can't play with friends, so doing it all alone (other than the classical mode) is long. I liked the subspatial plot thing in Brawl, at least I was doing something XD And the fact that almost everyone is mute and all the characters together just made me squeeze.

Now I'm just struggling to unlock characters because, well... It's pretty long. But I like the little game they did on Wii U.

I am still alive and playing Smash.

Anyways, I finally got some of the character DLC a few weeks back, specifically Ryu and Roy.
Roy is much better than his Melee incarnation in moves and looks, and Ryu is just plain fun albeit extremely difficult.

I will get Lucas eventually, and once he is released, I will get Cloud also. Those Limit Breaks look fun to use in combos.

And, like before, if anyone wants to play some matches, feel free to post here.

I've played way more of the 3DS version though I do like being able to use a Gamecube controller on the Wii U version.

I play with Duck Hunt , he's the most interesting play-style to me(all the mind games) . MY secondary is Marth though and the only reason I love plying as him is cause it feels like I'm elegantly dancing on the stages. Roy just doesn't have THAT GRACE.

I grew up with Smash Bro's on the 64 and Melee on the Gamecube, and they were totally radical. I haven't played the newer ones, although I do have it for the 3DS. I bought the Link, Fox and Falco Amiiiiieieiiibo's just because.

So I suppose you could guess which characters I like to use XD

Just a reminder that the final Smash Bros. Direct is a few days from now on December 15.

It will start at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET.

I have Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS, the main character's I use to play are Sheik and Rosalina & Luma but no items.

Not sure about everyone else, but I enjoyed the Smash Direct (aside from the many freezes and blurriness, but that is probably because of the library's wi-fi).

Anyways, Bayonetta is in Sm4sh now. I am a bit disappointed that Isaac did not get into Sm4sh, but Bayonetta is a great pick in my opinion. Her moveset looks really interesting too.

Have not really formulated an opinion on Corrin/Kamui mostly because of technical difficulties, but apparently, (s)he has dragon powers and makes use of that. Sounds good.

Also, Cloud is available for download starting today. It might be hard to get him since the eShop has probably exploded due to everyone trying to get Cloud, though. Still, CLOUD

Really don't care about Cloud, that announcements was a 'I can completely understand why but eh... this is about as exciting as Pacman being in the game' Bayonetta though. I'm hype.

I don't have much interest in the FE series to be honest. You would think I would since tactics games are usually the games I end up getting completely hooked on. But they were hard for me to get into in the first place and then after they implemented the weird dating/breeding system my interest was dead.

I have played since the first installment on the day it came out!

I prefer the classic characters - Pikachu, Kirby, Jigglypuff are my go-to's - then Bowser, Ganondorf, Dr. Mario in Melee, and I haven't branched out very much in Brawl or 4.

I did write a zelda parody comic which you may or may not have seen me promote... and someday i may pen a sequel, which has been plotted and partially written, revolving around this very game series...

Same. The only Final Fantasy game I have played was Crystal Chronicles for the Gamecube, so I do not have any experience whatever with Cloud. Still, Cloud is an iconic character, and one of my friends is a huge FF fan, so Cloud being announced, while unexpected, still is pretty cool in my opinion.

Also, patch 1.1.3 made some character changes. The changes are currently being researched, and what has been changed can be found here1.

Still here and playing Sm4sh.

A while back, Bayonetta and Corrin were released on the eShop to download.

I have not played much of Corrin or Bayonetta, but they are both fun to play in my opinion.
They are a bit of a pain to fight against because of those Counters, but I have trouble playing against characters with Counter, so yeah. laughing

They were released with update 1.1.4. For the Marth and Lucina players here, be happy; they received a number of buffs.

Anyways, it has been a while since I posted here, and I do not think many people check out this thread anyway. Not a problem.

I play brawl with my cousins a lot, but since I don't have a Wii U, I don't play Smash 4.

Though I did try out in a local competition once - I got absolutely thrashed by an 11 year old kid, while a crowd of people were watching me. I blazed out with the last shred of my dignity blown away.
