Would you turn your comic into a TV show?

Hells yes! But considering the eventual content matter, no network I know of would ever do that haha!

I would love for it to be animated in an Avatar the Last Airbender type style as a show!

I'd probably pitch a different story given the chance. One specifically more tailored to tv. I'd probably even write up the script to it. So far none of my current comics I would feel work for tv. Although there are ones i'm writing up do feel like they'd work in that setting. I have done some concept art for a kid tv show for my portfolio a few months back.

As it is now, no.
However, if they had more content, I would only allow like one season. (And I don't care how much the fans cry). I would also be open for some rewrites. I think it would do better animated (probably 2d Flash/AfterEffects).

All my comics that take place in the universe with a screwed up WWII would probably do well in CGI or high budget live action (somewhere between Walking Dead and Game of Thrones probably) and I'm actually working on animating another story of mine that started out as a comic.

(and technically I think it'd suit better animated than a comic tbh)
I'd want them to be anime, probably by the guys that did avatar/legend of korra as a western choice since it'd be literally no chance in hell trying for a company in japan lol.

I might accept. I think of my comic as a bit like Doctor Who and I wonder if live action/CG would be the way to go, but I also thought it would be neat if it were an anime series.

It's an interesting idea... But to be frank, the way that tv cartoons have been going lately, I wouldn't want to put my stuff in to any of the mainstream production companies... Maybe Netflix, if I can get a deal on creative direction...

Really though, I'd think I'd much prefer having my stuff cast as an animated web series, so that I might have more creative control over my own content. Really, at this point, it's where things are heading now. With crowdfunding and monthly paid patronage websites, fan-driven content has never been simpler! We're in an age of an entertainment renaissance, and I'm really excited about it! ^^

Waste Of Time: The Animated Musical

Serious answer: depends on who's asking. I wouldn't want any "talking head" animation like Family Guy, I know my comic's not an epic adventure, but animation allows for so much body language, I'd want a studio that knows what it's doing on that front.

Also they'd have to be able to animate really bad dancing.

But seriously though, my comic as an animated musical sitcom is the dream.

Hell yeah, I wanna work in the animation industry anyway, doing webcomics is just a way to get ideas out of my head. It'd be easier too because certain things I want to have impact don't translate well as a single still image.

!00% definitely. Cartoons are the best, and kids and fun summertime stories are a cartoon staple. I think about cartoons a lot, and am actually studying for an animation degree, so maybe a cartoon about my comic isn't a impossibility one day!

YEAAAH tv'd be the best adaptation as films tend to cut bits out with the need to condense, while tv programmes have time for character development subplots that are important to the main arc. SARGENTUM's a pretty slow burn anyway, and it'd fit well. i think i speak for everyone when i say i'd be INCREDIBLY picky about casting, costumes, location, any story edits, etc, because it's a weirdly plotted thing but it's MY weirdly plotted thing, u feel

I don't think I'd want Crow Summer to be a TV show (maaaaaybe a mini series… but frankly, I don't know how I'd feel about relinquishing it to someone else and a different medium.)

But my practice comic? Heck, yeah! I actually wrote it with the TV show episode format in mind, and more than once someone's told me that it reads an awful lot like a sitcom. XD It'd be 2d animated, probably super stylized. I'd be totally chill with all the casting, except I'd want Chris Hemsworth (or someone equally well-known) to play Matt, and some random unknown kid from Alabama to play Stan. Because it'd be hilarious for Chris Hemsworth to constantly get jealous of how famous somebody else is. I have no idea who would watch my show, though.

Yeah, I'd do it if they wanted to turn my comic into and animated series but I'd rather it be when I'm more than halfway done with it, I'd be pretty mad if they jumped ahead of me and butchered it because I already have my ending planned out.

Ideally, Autumn Bay would be a live action series on Netflix, AMC, HBO, or something. I'd be cool with an animated adaptation.

Of course, I would maintain the rights to the comic itself and try for an advisory position (or, ideally, be the show runner).
