Your biggest dreams or goals as a creator?

My biggest goal as an artist, is to have something I created reach fandom standards.

Nothing quite says that you've made it, than seeing a bunch of people make art, write stories, and speculate wildly about something you've made that they really enjoy.

Someday, I want to reach that holy pinnacle: to see when someone creates a cosplay as a character from my very own series.

My biggest goal for now would be to finish my comic. I've never finished any comic project (my personal record was 16 pages) so any completion is already a huge step for me.

One little goal I've had for a while is for Burning Bright to become popular enough that I could get a tattoo of one of my designs from the series. There are seven districts in the story's world, and each one has a specific symbol, and the tattoo would be of at least one of those. Probably one of both of these:

I've been really tempted to get one already, but this, more than anything, has the potential to become a tattoo that is later regretted (if the series failed), so I'm waiting it out.

No long term goals currently.
But a short term dream/goal is to just complete something. To sit back and say yes this story is completed. It will be a nice dream fulfillment once I make that happen.

I want lots of people to enjoy my comic strip, and I want my art skills to improve quite a bit. It would be cool if comic strips could become my full time pursuit, but I'm not counting on it.

Right now my main goal is to get my skills up to a point to where I can make some sort of living doing illustration work. A long the way I plan on making tons of comics and having a published physical print of a graphic novel would be awesome. I just really don't want to work shitty office or retail jobs so I that is my main and most important goal is to be able to one day support myself through free lance work or various projects I'm up to.

A far off dream is to one day work on an animated cartoon in some fashion. Probably through writing or story boarding, or dare I dream as a creator. Not sure what will happen, but I do know I want to improve my skills and have a day job that I enjoy.

At the heart, I'd love to inspire children to be more confident with themselves through my story =)
All-ages/children's books tend to lack POC kids, and this definitely affects their confidence. I'm really excited to share more POC characters and kids in the story so that they can see themselves in the story and feel good about how they look!
My little sister is already a huge fan of an upcoming black girl character, which I think is sweet because I knew she wouldn't have felt that way before I made this comic. I hope it gets better from here =D

Making a living and nourish a devoted fanbase would be mine. But I like to say I want to be the best comic artist in the world! Criticaly acclaimed,respected, people buying my books like hotcakes! Invitations to panels at conventions, everything! Then animate my stuff, video games the works.
I know its kinda up there in the clouds but unattainable goals are the best kind!

My goal as a creator is to make an animated series. I've always wanted to be an animator!!! I just figured Tapastic would be a good first step. Also, to have my work acknowledged by people I follow would be AWESOME

One of my dreams for now is to be able to make a living in doing my OWN artworks much like Shilin or Sakimi-chan although my skill are nowhere as near as theirs. Still a longshot.

Another is to be able to finish all my Original Character's stories and give them a fanbase.

I used to dream to create an animation series as well but I've thrown it out the window because you need to have huge funds and huge manpower to do that.

I want to give something of value to the webcomic community while acquiring a huge fanbase in the process.

Specifically, I want to give the autistic/aspie crowd a voice in a world where most people still don't quite get autism/asperger's. I want people to actually think before they casually throw such terms around as an insult to people who may or may not be somewhere on the spectrum. I want to "normalize" people like me in other words. Keep what makes us tick, but also show we're still people just like our neurotypical brothers and sisters, NOT the butt of internet jokes.

My dream is to put my comics in the hands of the readers. I want people to read and enjoy my story just as much as I enjoy other artist's work. Recently I decided to venture outside of my comfort zone for my secondary comic and work on a genre I usually don't work on which is romance and slice of life. The secondary is a romantic drama (I have ventured into drama throughout me life) with slice of life elements. This way if I read more than one type of story I have a wider range of readers to read my comic. This also if I get a little tired of one I can switch to the other.

My biggest goals are:

1) Finish A Legend (of some sort) and print a small run of nice color paperbacks

2) Eventually, someday, have one solid bookshelf's worth of printed works created by me (graphic novels, prose novels, book of plays, etc)

Number 2 is sort of a natural progression of Number 1.
